I just got the main song "Mamma Mia" stuck in my head, from the movie. Still don't own it, but want it so much. Anyway, remembering the movie got me back into thinking (just like it did after watching it in theater), that boy, I'd really really really really love to have supportive, reliable, trustworthy & really fun friends like the mom has. Friends who I can be myself around, whether that means I'm acting tremendously odd/silly, am feeling angsty, needing hugs, random dancing, or even when I'm mad and venting viciously. Right now the closest friend I have who is anything like that (but sort of not because she's very very practical emotion-wise and down-to-earth) is TWO STATES AWAY and has been ever since my family moved me after the divorce. Don't get me wrong, this entry has nothing to do with anger over the divorce or at my family. That's irrelevant because the point I just made is that she's FAR AWAY.
Back to what I wanted to type about. [link] I love that photo. Love that they're singing together. Love the outfits. Love the spontaneity and celebration of being alive. Love, love love it.
I don't sing around 99.99% of my friends/acquaintances because only my fiance and one guy friend (who had a crush on me at the time) have ever really told me they think I sing well. But that does not explain why my family has me shut my door at home when I sing. -_-
So I think my fiance and that particular guy friend are biased. I certainly don't sing around the girls I know, especially ever since a (now ex)-friend of mine told me in the car that I "couldn't carry a tune in a bucket". :shame:


I'm not one who goes around trying to make "on-line friends" and then risking meeting them in real life. Overall, I hate the concept of doing that because the news. BUT there are a select few people I've corresponded with on dA, whom I -would- like to meet sometime. Most of those few know who they are...I think anyway.

Aaand getting back to the main point again of this entry--I am interested to know if any of you would be interested in getting to know me in person? And if any of you also have a passion about the movie?


And a *side point* of this entry, is, well, I feel silly for proposing it...but I thought of my own "meme" as it were. Please make something that in some way is akin to an application, that is, an application of friendship (like as if you were applying to be my friend).
